Crane Beams
Crane Beams are support members for different types of cranes, allowing unobstructed movement along the building length. These beams are supported on building columns.
Mezzanine Systems
Standard mezzanine systems consist of profiled steel deck, mezzanine joists, built-up beams, and intermediate support columns. Built-up beams span laterally while mezzanine joists span longitudinally, bolted to beam top flanges. Concrete slabs or steel checkered plates serve as finished surfaces.
Trusses
KXD Truss System is a highly economical, rigid structure ideal for large span roof systems, multiple bay buildings, and mezzanine floor framing. These structures are individually designed and fabricated using high-quality fixtures. All connections are field-bolted, eliminating site welding requirements. The system allows service pipes/ducts to run through trusses, reducing clearances and building heights while minimizing foundation costs through fewer support columns.
Fascias and Canopies
KXD provides various fascia types designed to customer requirements, including vertical, horizontal, or curved sheeting to enhance architectural appearance. Wall canopies at eaves, end walls, and over doors/windows are available as needed.
Secondary Members / Cold Formed Members
Secondary structural framing includes purlins, girts, eave struts, wind bracing, flange bracing, base angles, clips, and other miscellaneous parts. Purlins, girts, and eave struts are cold-formed steel members with minimum yield strength of 345 MPa (50,000 psi), conforming to GB/ISO/CE specifications.
Purlins & Girts
Purlins and girts are roll-formed Z sections (200mm deep with 64mm flanges) featuring 16mm stiffening lips at 45° angles. Supported on columns, rafters, or building walls, they can be lapped and nested at supports to create continuous beam configurations. They support roof sheeting and wall cladding.
C Section
C-Sections are 200mm deep with 100mm flanges perpendicular to the web, featuring 24mm stiffening lips.
Eave Strut
Eave struts are 200mm deep with 104mm top flanges and 118mm bottom flanges formed parallel to roof slope, each with 24mm stiffener lips. Located at roof-wall intersections, they transmit longitudinal wind forces from roof brace rods to wall brace rods.
Open Web Joists
Long-span load-carrying trusses suitable for direct support of floors and roof decks, consisting of crimped angles welded to top and bottom chords.
Cable Bracing
Made from extra-high-strength seven-strand cable, designed to accommodate any length for building stability against wind, crane, and earthquake forces. Features forged rod terminals fixed using hill side washers, nut washers, and nuts.
Roof & Wall Panels
KXD Roof (KR) & KXD Wall (KW)
KXD standard steel panels are 0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, or 0.6mm thick with minimum yield strength of 345 MPa. Hot-dipped galvanized with zinc or zinc-aluminum coating (275 grams per square meter according to GB standards). Multilayered coating systems ensure long life and optimal coating adherence through pretreatment, corrosion-resistant primer, and top coat application (25 microns front side, 12 microns reverse side).
KXD Rib / Roof (KR)
Strong, cost-effective roofing profile with bearing leg design for easier installation and maintenance. Supports thicker insulation layers and allows curvature for appealing finishes.
Coverage Area: 1000 mm
Rib Depth: 25 mm
KXD Wall (KW)
Cost-effective, partially concealed fastener panel with sculptured valley shape for superior architectural appearance on external walls.
Coverage Area: 1000 mm
Rib Depth: 15 mm
KXD Deck
Used in high-rise buildings, offices, and mezzanine floors for industrial buildings and warehouses. Serves as permanent shuttering to support wet concrete and create composite slabs and floor beams. Continuous flange stiffeners and deep embossments increase load capacity. Provides stable working platforms without propping. Roll-formed from hot-dip galvanized coils (345 MPa) with thickness from 0.6mm to 1.2mm.
Standard Colors
Arctic White, Caribbean Blue, Desert Beige, Sun Gold, Autumn Green, Galvalume/AluZinc
Insulated Sandwich Panels
Insulation
Building insulation primarily reduces heat transfer through ceilings and openings.
Polyurethane Insulation
Manufactured by press injection method to produce polyurethane core between exterior steel facings. Suitable for roof and wall claddings.
Fiber Glass Insulation
Fire-safe, CFC-free insulation that doesn't emit toxic smoke. Laminated to steel facings with special chemical glue, completely filling insulation cavities. Suitable for retrofitting existing buildings.
KXD Roof Insulated Panel (KRIP)
Premier roofing system using KXD Roof (KR) profile for durable, low-maintenance, weather-tight performance. Large panel sizes reduce joints while high corrugation overlap minimizes water leakage.
KXD Wall Insulated Panel (KWIP)
Uses KXD Wall (KW) cladding profile for speedy, cost-efficient external wall solutions requiring higher insulation performance. Fastener-obscuring profile suitable for commercial and industrial applications.

Steel Structure Applications
  • Industrial warehouse/workshop plants
  • Multi-story residential apartment/office buildings
Multi-storey Steel Building System
Primary structural elements (columns and floor beams) are laid out to minimize steelwork costs and erection time. Optimal layouts balance functional, architectural, and economic considerations through early architect-engineer consultation.
The third structural element is the stabilizing system providing lateral support against gravity loading and wind overturning effects. Taller buildings require more sophisticated bracing, which becomes the dominant design consideration in very tall structures.
Lateral stability may be provided through bracing, moment-resisting connections, steel shearwalls, concrete service towers, or concrete/brick infill panels. Stabilizing elements can be located within building plans, perimeter walls, or externally.
Steel structure stabilization systems include two-way braced, one-way braced and one-way-rigid, or two-way rigid types. Triangulated bracing is typically more economical than moment-resisting frames where access isn't restricted by openings.
Floor stiffness within each plane maintains squareness and transmits exterior wind loading to vertical bracing.
Stabilizing Systems Examples
Various bracing systems provide multi-storey building stability. While examples show X-type bracing, alternatives include chevron bracing, knee bracing, or other types. Floor bracing functions can be provided by concrete slabs with only nominal steel squaring-up bracing.
Two-way Steel Bracing
Highly efficient for stiffness, erection speed, and economy. All beam-to-column connections are simple (hinged), minimizing labor and accelerating erection. Self-supporting structure enables complete erection without integration with other trades. Braced panels in exterior walls may affect window patterns but can be expressed as architectural features. Long buildings require interior bracing sets.
One-way Steel Bracing
Stiff frames provide transverse stiffness with longitudinal stiffness from one-way side bracing. More costly than two-way bracing but eliminates triangulated bracing drawbacks. Suitable for long buildings with potential for shallower main beams and reduced storey heights due to continuity. Triangulated bracing remains significantly more cost-effective than moment frames.
Central Service Core
Efficient stability solution for compact buildings with moderate length-to-width ratios through centralized service cores.
Floor Framing
Steel-framed buildings typically use main and secondary beams at right angles, with secondary beams framing into or passing over main beams. Floor slabs/decks rest on secondary beams.
Main beams are usually simply-supported between columns. Secondary beams with flush top flanges create minimum-depth floor grids but require web penetrations for services. Secondary beams passing over main beams provide continuity, reducing mass and deflection while facilitating service routing.
Twin Beams
Continuity achieved through closely-spaced twin beams passing each side of columns. Plastic design allows 70% or less combined moment compared to single simply-supported beams at similar mass. Increased stiffness through continuity helps reduce floor depth (storey height) or replace expensive welded plate girders on long spans.
